Experience:

Cheri’s diverse background includes multiple certifications, extensive training, and work with well-known celebrities such as Molly Sims, Danielle Jonas, Katherine Mcphee, Lorraine Bracco, Téa Leoni, Megan Hilty, Tina Sloan, and Hilary Shor. Cheri received her certificate in Aesthetics from The International School of Beauty, and 16 years later accelerated her knowledge by becoming Advanced Licensed by being medically trained. She also became an advanced certified technician through Xtreme Lashes and then went on to become an Xtreme Lashes trainer, traveling the US to train licensed professionals in the industry.

Cheri founded Lash Boutique Portland in 2005, sold her business and moved on to start Lash Boutique in New York City in 2006. Between the years of 2006 and 2015, Cheri continued her ownership of Lash Boutique NYC, while furthering her experience in the industry by traveling abroad, bringing her art to Paris, France from 2008 to 2012. Cheri’s custom eyelash services from Lash Boutique in NYC were offered in celebrity gift bags at the Emmy Awards, The Golden Globes Awards, and The Cannes Film Festival. After nine successful years, Cheri sold Lash Boutique NYC and returned to the Northwest, the home of her original Lash Boutique.

Cheri is Volume Certified with Xtreme Lashes, and 3rd-level Master Peel technician with PCA. Her passions aid her in running both of Beauty Rule’s locations In the NE and NW of Portland with high standards that her clients have come to expect and on which she has built her reputation.

DR. MADARANG

Medical Director/M.D.

Dr. Madarang is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing since 2003. Highly advanced in her training with Botox, dermal fillers, and medical-grade skincare, Lisa believes aesthetics and injectables should enhance natural beauty and help people achieve a healthier, more youthful appearance. Dr. Madarang is passionate about providing each of her patients with a comprehensive skincare and injectable treatment plan that restores physical beauty and confidence. Not only will you experience her immense knowledge during your visit with her, but you will also sense her compassion, confidence, and reassuring nature.

Outside work, Lisa loves to read, enjoy her husband's cooking, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

SANDA STEIN

Sanda became a registered nurse in 2016. She first worked in psychiatric care for one year. She then switched to working closely with patients in women’s health for three years. Through experiencing women’s vulnerabilities, Sanda learned how aesthetics is pivotal in helping women feel more confident. This ignited a greater interest in providing compassionate and individualized care to support her clients. She loves building a relationship with clients to help them achieve their goals of self-care, lifestyle, and authenticity.

Sanda received training in aesthetic techniques at Pacific Northwest Aesthetics Academy (PNAA). Her approach to cosmetic treatments is to address the client’s concerns of aging by using available technology to enhance features while maintaining a natural appearance. The way we look affects the way feel, and the way we feel affects the way we behave. It is one of Sanda’s greatest joys to share excitement and a boost confidence with her clients. She is grateful for the opportunity to build this relationship with you.

DANIELLE

Studio Manager

Danielle has been with us since summer 2021, and by now most of you have experienced her either by phone or checking you out at the end of your appointment. She has been such a beneficial addition to the team, helping Beauty Rule run smoothly on a day to day basis. When she is not at the studio, she enjoys spending time reading, watching tv, doing yoga, and spending time with her dog.

Allie is a Portland native. She worked in the medical field for 7 years prior to pursuing her dream of working in the beauty industry. While studying at Aveda she realized her love of aesthetics. "I love helping people look and feel their best." Allie loves improving her skillset and can't wait to update her list of services.

When not working she spends her time with her boyfriend and their 2 fur children Thor and Boone. She enjoys spending time with family. Allie also loves watching a good horror show, the scarier the better.

Veronica was born and raised here in the PNW. After many years working in healthcare she decided she was ready for a change. She has always had a passion for cosmetology and took the plunge. Veronica attended cosmetology school here in Portland and immediately joined the Beauty Rule team. She is looking forward to building long lasting relationships with her clients. When she is not working in the studio, she is creating incredible crochet projects for fun. She is a fur momma to cat, Lucy and dog, Louie. She and her boyfriend love to be outside whether it be their own yard or taking Louie to the dog park to play.

MAKAYLA

Makayla was born and raised right outside of Portland, Oregon, where she aspired to find a career in the beauty industry. Lashes and skincare are her biggest passions, so she is very excited to join Beauty Rule and help clients reach new levels of confidence with a full set of lashes.

When she is not in the studio, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and close friends. She also enjoys coffee, hanging out with her cat, and shopping.
