Men And Microblading

Why Microblading Is a Good Idea for Men

Think microblading is just for women? Think again! We've all got eyebrows, remember. And men care about their body image just as much as women do. So here's what you must know about microblading and why it's a great procedure for everyone.

What Is Microblading?

Think of microblading like getting a semi-permanent tattoo. Our artist uses a small tool with tiny needles attached to draw hair strokes. The needles deposit pigment into the upper layers of your skin.

The result? Fuller-looking brows for men and women.

Won't My Eyebrows Look Too Groomed?

Not unless you want them to!

There's no need to go for the super-groomed look that's most popular with women. Microblading for men can be really subtle. Our artists can just fill out the eyebrow shape that's already there without making it look too "perfect." No one will know you've had microblading unless you tell them.

So whether you want strong, defined eyebrows or a more rugged look, you can achieve the perfect style. Don't be put off by microblading just because you think it's a "girl" thing!

How Does the Procedure Work?

First, we draw the brows with your approval. Then, the artist applies some numbing ointment to make the procedure more comfortable.

The needles don't actually penetrate your skin. Instead, the tool lightly scratches the surface of your skin to deposit the pigment. So it shouldn't be painful, but it could still be a little uncomfortable.

The whole procedure takes up to 2-3 hours.

Do I Need More Than 1 Appointment?

Probably.

You'll have your initial appointment and then at least 1 touchup appointment 4 weeks later. You might need more appointments, depending on how well your skin absorbed the pigment.

After the touchups, the result should last at least 12 months. For some guys, it lasts up to 3 years.

What Happens After the Appointment?

Listen, guys — aftercare is important. Try not to get your brows wet for a week. If you don't want to skip the gym, ask your artist how to protect your brows from sweat.

And remember, don't pick at any scabs. They're part of the healing process.

Takeaway

Whether you're struggling with hair loss or just want to improve your appearance, microblading is the way to go. It's not just for women, honestly. Give it a go — you won't regret it!
