Red LED light therapy stimulates the fibroblasts that produce collagen, by sending energy-producing packets of light into the deeper layers of the skin. The cells in the dermis layer of skin convert that light energy into the fuel skin cells use to produce collagen, which give the skin fullness, and elastin, which give the skin the ability to bounce back.
Infrared (IR) LED light therapy enhances the Red LED light therapy, by travelling even deeper into the body to repair connective tissue that’s needed to create collagen and keep skin resilient and healthy.
Blue LED light penetrates the top layer of skin, and is quickly absorbed by acne bacteria that live below the surface of the skin. Blue light therapy is followed by Red light therapy to help restore cellular function, repair damaged tissue and promote healthy, velvety-smooth skin.
