Microblading: What Is It!?

Microblading is all anyone is talking about in the beauty industry and here at The Beauty Collective we are so excited about this trend that’s here to stay.

Penciling on eyebrows has become a daily routine for many women and microblading eliminates that daily hassle, making it a crowd pleaser!

Microblading is a form of semi-Permanent Makeup that partially or fully camouflages missing eyebrow hairs. This procedure places fine pigments throughout your brows using stroking or shading techniques, giving the appearance of fuller eyebrows. This is prefect for those of us who want to change our brow look or perhaps have over tweezed in years past. With Microblading you’re able to redefine and reshape your eyebrows, the curtains to your soul!

Pricing for Microblading at The Beauty Collective starts at $550 for your initial service and touchups range from $150 to $300 depending on how soon you return for your touch up. After your first appointment we ask that you come back within four to eight weeks for your first touch up. This one is the most important because the pigment naturally dissipates, depending on your skin type and this appointment allows for the color to truly be set. Sometimes certain skin type requires two or three of these follow up appointments while others only need one initial touch up. After that you can come in as often as you’d like, anywhere from eight weeks to two years.  Microblading requires so little maintenance and if done properly, looks so natural that it’s popularity is soaring.

This service is semi-permanent which just means it lasts for a while but not quite permanently. Color is deposited in a layer of the skin leaving traces of pigment for a one to two years. Skin naturally sheds and renews so to keep the look fresh and full, touch ups are required.

This service is perfect for everyone!

If you have light hairs for brows:

I know a lot of people who are naturally blond or redheads love microblading! You’re able to add and enhance your shape and add pigments to your brows so they appear full and visible.

If you struggle to grow eyebrow hair:

Microblading was designed for you! Its especially good to add to existing thin eyebrows for people who have over tweezed or took the thin brow look from 20 years ago and ran with it.

Its also a need to do for anyone who struggle with hair lose you have alopecia or anyone going through chemo, this procedure can be done in a way where strokes imitate brows, giving you an option more natural then penciling them each day without the fear of them sweating or washing off. Its especially good to add to existing thin eyebrows for people who have over tweezed or took the thin brow look from 20 years ago and ran with it!

If you have full brows:

Full thick brows are trending and people are getting microblading done to achieve the thick untamed brow look seen on the catwalk of New York and Paris. So if your eyebrows aren’t as thick or as burly as you’d like them or you want brows that are obvious in a fabulous way, microblading is the best natural looking option.

Everyone else:

For me, I just want to look as fabulous I can with as little effort! I have naturally thick and dark lashes but I still spend about 5 minutes each day meticulously placing brow pencil and brow pomades in a way that looks natural to enhance the shape of my brows. With Microblading adding even a few strokes and shading can make such a big difference and it truly allows the “I woke up like this” look without any regrets!
